Vanquish participated in the AdventHealth Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium on Sunday, May 17, 2026, held from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm ET at the JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida.
Symposium overview
The AdventHealth Gastrointestinal Cancer Symposium brought together surgical, medical, and radiation oncology experts to discuss contemporary management of pancreatic, biliary, colorectal, and gastroesophageal cancers. The agenda included disease-focused sessions on pancreatic and biliary tract cancers, colorectal cancers, and gastroesophageal junction (GEJ) malignancies, integrating talks on targeted therapy, radiation, surgery, interventional endoscopy, and supportive care such as exercise in colon cancer.
Program highlights
Session I on pancreatic and biliary tract cancers covered KRAS‑targeted therapy, the evolving role of radiation in pancreatic cancer, and screening for pancreatic cancer in high‑risk patients, followed by a multidisciplinary panel discussion. Session II focused on colorectal cancers, with presentations on molecular therapy, surgical innovations for rectal cancer, exercise for patients with colon cancer, management of metastatic disease including liver transplant, and a speaker panel. Session III addressed gastroesophageal cancers, highlighting ASCO GI 2026 updates, surgical perspectives on GEJ cancers, interventional endoscopy, radiation management, and a closing multidisciplinary panel and remarks.
Vanquish Bio participation
As a participant, Vanquish Bio engaged with clinicians and researchers across these sessions to explore how AI-enabled platforms and evidence-focused workflows could support earlier risk identification, more consistent imaging and pathology interpretation, and better linkage between treatment decisions and outcomes in GI cancers. Participation at this May 17, 2026 symposium helped deepen relationships with AdventHealth faculty and reinforced the alignment between PANDA’s research, cohort-building, and decision-support capabilities and the real-world needs of GI oncology programs.
